Soak your dirty socks in this mixture to remove all the dirt without rubbing. Quick and easy!

Everyone loves wearing crisp white socks. On the other hand, not everyone knows how to keep them clean, especially after wearing them for a long time. Learn how to restore the original whiteness of socks that no longer look like they used to.

1 – CITRIC ACID

Who would have thought that citric acid could be a great bleach for white things. To whiten a pair of socks, a lemon or a tablespoon of granulated citric acid will be enough. In 1000 ml. warm water, dissolve the juice of one lemon or a tablespoon of citric acid, place the socks in a bowl with the prepared solution.

If there are designs on the white socks, it is not necessary to soak them completely, they just need to be damp. Apply lemon juice on a white surface for 20 minutes, then wash them gently.

2 – SALT WATER

A warm salt water solution will help you remove sweat and mold stains that may appear on the fabric of your socks.

Ingredients

2 spoonfuls of salt (20 g)
1 liter of lukewarm water
How should you proceed?

Pour the two spoonfuls of salt into a liter of water. Then mix everything well so that the salt dissolves properly. Dip the socks in this solution.
If your socks are really dirty, you can add a little detergent to the mixture for better results.
Avoid using water that is too hot, as it can affect the elasticity of your garment.

3 – VINEGAR

Every housewife in the kitchen will find a bottle of vinegar. Not everyone knows that the substance can be used as a whitening agent for white things. Pour a liter of warm water (40 ° C) into the container, add 3 tablespoons of nine percent vinegar. Put on yellowed or gray socks for three hours, then do the usual wash.
