1. Electronic devices
Phones, tablets, and laptop computers provide undeniable ease in modern life.
Many people have the habit of checking social media or watching movies immediately before going to bed. However, these devices are the “silent enemies” of hair and sleep health.
Blue light from the screen interferes with the generation of melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep. When sleep quality is poor, hair cells do not receive enough nutrients to grow, resulting in weaker hair that is more likely to fall out.
To avoid harmful effects, keep electronic devices at least one meter away from your bed or, better yet, turn them off entirely at night.

2. Mirrors
Mirrors are a common item in the bedroom, but if placed incorrectly, they might negatively affect your sleep.
Mirrors placed near the bed, according to feng shui, reflect negative energy, generate a sense of insecurity, and heighten anxiety levels.
Light or minor motions reflected in the mirror might awaken the brain, inhibiting deep slumber.
When the body does not receive enough rest, the hair regeneration process is disrupted, making hair more vulnerable to breakage.

3. Night light is too bright
The sleep-wake cycle of the organism is significantly influenced by light. Many people choose to have their nightlight on all night to feel comfortable or convenient when moving. However, bright light from a night light might inhibit the creation of melatonin, making it difficult to fall asleep.
Prolonged sleeplessness not only makes you tired, but it also harms your skin and hair. Use a soft, warm night light or, better yet, turn off the light entirely for a good night’s sleep.

4. Books and work documents
Many people make it a habit to read or work in bed before going to bed to unwind. However, if you leave books or work documents near your bed, you may unintentionally cause psychological stress.
Thoughts about work or the plot of the book you’re reading can keep your mind occupied and make it tough to relax.
When the brain does not rest, sleep is incomplete, and hair does not have enough time to regenerate. Instead of keeping books and paperwork immediately next to you, leave them on your desk and engage in gently calming activities such as listening to instrumental music to assist your body in falling asleep more easily.
