Misunderstood
Nine-year-old Tony was staying with his grandmother for the weekend. After playing outside with the neighborhood kids for a few hours, he ran into the kitchen with a deeply curious look on his face.
“Grandma,” Tony asked, “what is it called when two people sleep in the same room, and one person is right on top of the other?”
The grandmother was completely taken aback. After a moment of hesitation, she decided to be modern and honest with him. She cleared her throat and whispered, “Well, darling… that is called sexual intercourse.”
“Oh, okay!” Tony nodded, seemingly satisfied, and ran back outside to resume playing.
Ten minutes later, the front door slammed open. Tony marched back into the house, looking absolutely furious.
“Grandma, it is not called sexual intercourse!” he yelled. “It’s called bunk beds… and Jimmy’s mom is standing on the porch waiting to talk to you!”
