A young, newlywed husband spent his entire evening commute daydreaming about his future. When he finally unlocked the front door of their apartment, his glowing wife was waiting for him in the entryway, practically bursting with anticipation.
“Honey, I have the most incredible, life-changing news for you!” she squealed, grabbing his hands. “Very soon, there will be three of us living in this house instead of just the two of us.”
Overjoyed and overwhelmed with emotion, the husband’s face completely lit up. He let out a triumphant shout, swept her up into his arms, and spun her around the room. He hugged her tightly, kissing her cheeks, his mind immediately filling with beautiful images of building a crib, shopping for tiny baby clothes, and becoming a proud father. Tears of pure happiness welled up in his eyes.
As he finally set her down, panting and grinning from ear to ear, his wife gave him a warm, radiant smile and added:
“I am so incredibly glad you are this excited about it! Because tomorrow morning at eight o’clock sharp, my mother is moving in with us permanently!”
