A man was sitting at a bar, enjoying a drink with a friend.
His buddy asked,
“So, how was your weekend?”
The man took a sip and sighed.
“Well… while I was out here having a few drinks last night, a burglar broke into my house.”
His friend looked concerned.
“That’s terrible! Did he get away with anything?”
The man nodded.
“Oh, he got plenty.”
His friend leaned in.
“Like what?”
The man replied with a straight face,
“A broken jaw…”
“Six knocked-out teeth…”
“…and a couple of cracked ribs.”
His friend blinked.
“Wait… what happened?”
The man smiled.
“My wife heard someone sneaking into the house after midnight…”
“…and she thought it was me coming home drunk again!” 😂
