A tour bus driver was cruising down the highway with a bus full of senior citizens.
Everything was peaceful until a little old lady tapped him gently on the shoulder.
“Would you like some peanuts?”
The driver smiled.
“Sure! Thank you.”
He happily munched on the peanuts while keeping his eyes on the road.
About 15 minutes later…
Tap, tap.
The same little old lady handed him another generous handful.
“Thank you!” he said, slightly puzzled.
Fifteen minutes later…
Tap, tap.
Another handful.
This happened again.
And again.
And again.
After several rounds of free peanuts, the driver finally couldn’t resist asking:
“Ma’am, these peanuts are delicious, but why don’t you eat them yourself?”
The little old lady smiled sweetly.
“Oh, we can’t chew them anymore. We don’t have any teeth.”
The driver looked confused.
“Then why do you keep buying them?”
The old lady smiled proudly and gave him another handful.
“Oh, that’s easy.”
“We just love the chocolate around them!”
The driver nearly missed his exit.
