1. He doesn’t like to call you to say good night
Men don’t like to be forced into things. They like to call you because they want to, not because they are being forced to. He knows you think it’s sweet when he calls to say good night, so he does it to make you happy. But he really doesn’t want it.
2. He notices those extra five pounds
Whenever you’re another couple, every once in a while you put on what you might think of as “couple’s weight.” You know, the extra couple pounds that supernaturally show up from banquet and don’t go to the rec center since you are so busy investing energy with each other. This does not mean that your sweetheart is not really attracted to you! He simply desires you to appear equivalent to when you first met.
3. He wants you to show some skin
Men are visual. They like you to look great – all the time! He appreciates it when you make an effort to show up, even if you’re just going to a casual dinner party. Plain and simple, your boyfriend wants you to dress well.
4. He wants more $ex
Men like to feel needed and required. It’s essential to their DNA. 99.9% of men are sexual creatures. They are continually contemplating sexting and can never have too much. Your man needs to have a sextual relationship similar to the one he had when he initially started dating.
5. He thinks he doesn’t need that much makeup
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but men don’t die for makeup. They don’t notice the extra highlighter you put on your cheekbones or whether your eyeliner is blue or black. Men like the people they date to be naturally beautiful. Your boyfriend likes it when you wear subtle makeup; he’s not a fan of you looking like a pageant queen. He wants you to look like yourself.
6. He likes your family, but he doesn’t want to spend all day, every day with them.
Family is a touchy subject all the time. Your sweetheart is dating you, not your loved ones. Obviously, he considers and thinks about his family often, yet you don’t have to worry about keeping up with them consistently. It’s perfect to see them once a week.
7. He likes to hang out with his friends
Men crave men’s time. Whether he is sitting around drinking beer or going out drinking, he likes to hang out with his friends. He wants to tell you that he needs more man time, but you don’t want to offend him.
8. He wants a man cave
Whoever has imagined human spaces is a virtuoso. Your man cherishes having a space to himself to do anything he pleases. He longs for some alone time, but doesn’t have the foggiest idea how to tell you.
9. He would like more adventure
As happy as you are with your sex life, your boyfriend can always be happier. He would love to try something new in the bedroom, but doesn’t know how to break it to you without being offensive. This doesn’t mean he wants a threesome, but a new position or two could really spruce things up.
10. He likes to stay at home
Going out is fun, but so is staying home. Making the rounds becomes consistently tiring. Your man participates in a dinner prepared at home and a night in the lounge chair more than you suspect.
