Dad With No Arms or Legs Raises 2 Daughters After Their Mom Walked Out When Them Was Both as Kids
A parent’s love means that they will do anything for their children. They give everything, even when they have nothing to give. Doña Ignacia and her son, Pablo Acuña are such loving parents.

One Paraguayan family has experienced both ends of the spectrum, and their story began with a lady called Doña Ignacia, who, incidentally, turned 90 last year, in 2021.
She had a son called Pablo Acuña in his younger years and soon realised he had stunted development.
She told Vitamin: “I quickly realised that my son, at a young age, was not growing very much.”
She and her husband eventually took him to hospital to find out what was wrong with him and if anything could be done to help him. Ignacia said, “He was in hospital for two or three months, then he [his father] brought him back, just like when they left.”
Unfortunately, it turned out that Pablo had been born with a condition that meant his limbs would not grow, effectively leaving him without arms and legs.
Naturally, his mother stayed by his side and looked after him as she would any other child. As he grew, Pablo required the help of a wheelchair, but even then his mother reminded him every day that he was special, and as deserving of life as anyone else.
Despite the obvious difficulties and challenges Pablo faced in his life, he was able to raise both girls with love and care.
He was abandoned by the woman he believed to be the love of his life, leaving him with his two girls, one of whom was only four months old. However, he did not give up on his daughters and despite the difficulties and problems evident in his life, Pablo was able to raise the two children with love and care. They are now in their twenties, and one of them, Elida, speaks fondly of her father.
She says: “My father is my world. He is my friend… he is the best father in the world”.
She explained that her father is wise and intelligent, although he never went to school, and added that he is always happy and positive, despite what life has thrown at him.
I simply love the positive message of undying family love that this story brings. It is clear that this family has a lot of love for her. Hopefully, as their story becomes more known around the world, people will be able to help them achieve their goal of owning their home and having more security.
