Home Free group shared their patriotic rendition of ‘God Bless The USA’ featuring Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band.
‘God Bless The USA’ was originally released in 1984 by Lee Greenwood. He always felt the urge to write a patriotic song and when the shooting down of Korean Air Lines Flight 007 occurred, Lee knew the time was right to unite the nation.
Though it rose on the country charts, it wasn’t until the at/tacks on September 11th that the song became a cultural phenomenon.
‘And I’m proud to be an American Where at least I know I’m free And I won’t forget the men who d_ied Who gave that right to me’
As an American a cappella group, Home Free competed and won the fourth season of The Sing-Off. Comprised of members Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance, Home Free has been sharing their unique sound for years.
Today, the group is joining forces with famed vocalist Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band for this special performance of ‘God Bless The USA.’
