Adopting 4 Siblings In Order Not To Separate Them, This Couple Claims “Now They’re A Happy Family”

This American couple was responsible for protecting and loving four young brothers living in the same orphanage.
Being a parent requires love, mercy, and patience and even it is far beyond a biological relationship. That is the reason why an adopted parent is not much different from a biological parent. This American couple was responsible for protecting and loving four young brothers living in the same orphanage.
Brandon and Jennifer Pratt have always wanted to adopt many children as possible as they can. However, they didn’t think that their family of two people would become six overnight. The Pratts had a special connection to Brazil, so when first seeing these four brothers at the Christian orphanage in Recife-Pernambuco, the couple immediately knew they were the ones and didn’t have any hesitation.
Brandon revealed, “At first glance, Jennifer and I both teared up. We immediately knew without a shadow of a doubt that these were our boys,”.

Thining that if they just adopted one or two of the brothers, it would be straight off dividing the family, the couple went with what’s best for the children. Accordingly, Brandon and Jennifer Pratt decided that growing up together would bring about an easier and much happier life for all of them and soon started the paperwork.
“We decided to adopt them. all four to prevent them from growing up apart. They are calm children and they adapted easily!” They added.

The paperwork was completed after almost 2.5 years and then Brandon and Jennifer officially welcomed Cristiano , Leandro, William, Enzo and into their family. The children at first had great challenges in adapting, especially language barriers, but they were and continue to be fast learners.
“After six months here, they dropped Portuguese almost entirely and just spoke English. It happened very fast. Now, if I speak a phrase in Portuguese — I learned a little — they will reply in English.” , Jeniffer recalled.

The children had a difficult past when they were taken away from their mother losing their custody due to negligence.

“It wasn’t easy in the beginning, but every day is easier than the last, and every tough moment, every tough situation in this journey has been worth it.”
“Our family is what a family should be — full of joy and love. I couldn’t imagine our perfectly imperfect family story any other way,” Brandon added.
