Amid the legal battles with actor Johnny Depp, Amber Heard has found solace in Spain, where she now lives in Palma de Mallorca with her one-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard. She is joined by Bianca Butti, a Hollywood writer, producer, and cinematographer who shares Heard’s desire to live outside of the United States.
After winning the slander lawsuit a few months ago, Depp has been working on a variety of projects throughout the world. Meanwhile, Heard has chosen isolation in Spain, separating herself from the public view to focus on her daughter and enjoy life free of Depp’s influence.
Heard has financial issues as a result of the $8.3 million judgment imposed by the court in Depp’s favor. Despite her plea to decrease or eliminate the sum owed, the judge dismissed her initial request. Heard’s legal team cited flaws in the jury selection process, attempting to reverse the judgment.
As Heard seeks sanctuary in Spain, she appears to be enjoying the peace and quiet without any important engagements. She spends her days in the Mediterranean-bordering country, cherishing moments with her kid and enjoying the company of her friend Butti, a director with a few credits.
Heard’s most recent film projects include “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” and “In the Fire,” which is now in post-production. Meanwhile, Johnny Depp continues to thrive in the industry, with upcoming parts in “La Favorite,” a new Netflix film, the next episode of “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Fantastic Beasts 3.”
Despite their turbulent pasts, Heard and Depp appear to be flourishing independently, with Depp especially having a lucrative streak following his court victory.
