With the exception of a few celebrities who have been married for years and are still going strong, most of Hollywood marriages end in divorce, and the public is always ready to learn more when an A-list couple separates.
Most recently, the media has been admiring with Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who married in July 2022 after a second engagement.
Amid the reports of their breakup, images of Affleck and his ex, Jennifer Garner, have gone viral, fueling curiosity even further.
These outings between the Argo star and his former spouse – the two have been spotted together in Santa Monica most recently – have made some of Lopez’s fans mad so they were quick to share their opinion on the social media.
One user expressed pity for Lopez, one person wrote, “Garner is a dangerous, obsessed woman, using kids to control a weak man, one with addiction and depression issues.”
Another person expressed satisfaction that Affleck and Garner had divorced because his dissatisfaction with her was the source of his alcoholism.
Of course, some people thought the ex-partners were a fantastic couple back then. “Ben and Garner are the actual ‘Bennifer.’ They belong with their children, but Ben is an idiot.”
In fact, Garner and Lopez appear to be getting along as well, with one close friend describing their relationship as “very cordial, very healthy, and functioning.”
Garner, who is in a new relationship following her divorce with Affleck, is pleased with her new family dynamics, according to a source close to her. “A great space and feels good about where things currently stand with her new family dynamics.” The insider further stated that “[Affleck and Garner] have open communication and both are working to make this transition the best it could possibly be.”
While many feel Affleck’s personal life is in disarray, he is doing exceptionally well at business. He co-produces and stars in the film The Instigators, which will be released in August.
