David was always confident in the strength of his family. He and his wife, Linda, have formed their life around their only son, Jake, who recently turned 18. David has always been a proud and caring parent. However, Linda’s bombshell confession has turned everything upside down, forcing him to make an extremely tough decision.
David shared his story with us.
David opened his letter by saying, “I never expected to be in this situation, doubting all I thought I knew about my family. My wife, Linda, and I have been married for 30 years, and our son, Jake, has always been the focus of our lives. He had just turned 18, and we were thrilled to watch him grow into an adult full of promise and potential.
Linda and I had a nice friendship. Of course, we’ve had difficulties, but we’ve always overcome them together. So, when Linda approached me recently with a serious concern, I had no idea what she was about to say. She stated she needed to talk about something she’d been keeping hidden for a while.
David said, “Linda admitted that Jake is not biologically my. She told me she che:ated on me with her ex before we married and found out she was pregnant after we were married. She claimed she was afraid and bewildered at the time and chose to keep it a secret, believing it would never be revealed.
