Little Girl With dєαf Parents Signs For Them During Christmas Concert
Christmas carols are meant to be enjoyed by everyone. But, it can be a setback for parents who are dєαf. For them, 5-year-old Claire’s performance must still be heart-warming.
In 2013, Claire Koch was performing some Christmas carols together with the rest of her class.
At the same time, Claire (the blonde-haired child in the center) used sign language to describe the lyrics of the song while looking at her parents.
It was a Christmas concert for the kindergarteners at Plumb Elementary School. But Claire’s mother and father were both dєαf. The child made sure that her parents would not be left out because of it. And whether or not her parents asked her to sign, she definitely made them proud!
Just look at how clear her signature is and the adorable facial expressions that go along with it. She is too cute and too talented! The child’s facial expressions are very animated. The video now has over 10 million views – a star in the making!
Her mother says that Claire “is full of personality and spunk, that’s the Claire we know.” The cute Christmas video was so popular that dєαf actress Marlee Matlin had also remade it.
Koch explained that Claire signed it for them as a show of consideration for her parents.
She believed that Claire wanted them to appreciate the Christmas letters as much as everyone else.
