Nuns are painting the chapel on a hot summer day.
A group of nuns were spending the day repainting the old chapel during the middle of a brutal summer heatwave.
The church air conditioning had broken down the night before, and with temperatures soaring, the sisters were absolutely miserable.
By noon, sweat was pouring off everyone.
Finally, Sister Mary sighed and said,
“Ladies… we’ve all devoted our lives to God together. The doors are locked, nobody’s coming by, and if we don’t cool off soon we may pass out.”
After a moment of hesitant agreement, the nuns decided to remove their heavy gowns while they continued painting.
Soon the sisters were happily working away, laughing, painting walls, and finally enjoying a little relief from the unbearable heat.
Then suddenly—
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK.*
Every nun froze.
Sister Mary carefully walked toward the door and nervously asked,
“Who is it?”
A man’s voice answered from outside:
“It’s the blind man!”
The sisters all looked at each other.
“Well,” one nun whispered, “if he’s blind, it shouldn’t matter.”
Relieved, they unlocked the door and let him inside before quickly locking it again.
The man stepped into the chapel carrying several boxes and tools.
He paused for a second… slowly looked around the room… then grinned.
“Nice t*ts, sisters.”
The room went completely silent.
Then the man asked:
“So… where do you want the blinds installed?”
