Two elderly friends, Ethel and Mabel, were enjoying breakfast together at their favorite little restaurant.
As they chatted over coffee and toast, Ethel suddenly paused…
Squinted across the table…
And said,
“Mabel… has anyone told you there’s something in your left ear?”
Mabel looked puzzled.
“No… what is it?”
Ethel leaned in.
“Well…”
“It looks an awful lot like a suppository.”
Mabel’s eyes went wide.
“A suppository?!”
She carefully reached up…
Pulled it out…
And stared at it in complete disbelief.
The table went silent.
After a few long seconds…
She slowly nodded and said,
“Well, Ethel…”
“I’m certainly glad you spotted that.”
Ethel smiled.
“Why’s that?”
Mabel sighed with relief and replied,
“Because now I finally know where I put my hearing aid!” 😂🤣
Breakfast was interrupted…
But the mystery was finally solved.
