A flight from Rio to Miami took off with 116 passengers on board.
Everything was going smoothly… until the crew discovered a serious problem.
They had only 50 meals for 116 people!
The crew panicked.
But the head flight attendant stayed calm and came up with a clever plan.
About 30 minutes into the flight, she made an announcement:
“Ladies and gentlemen, we apologize, but we have only 50 dinners available for 116 passengers.”
The cabin went silent.
Then she continued:
“However, anyone kind enough to give up their meal will receive unlimited complimentary drinks and liquor for the entire flight.”
Suddenly, the passengers became very understanding.
Nobody complained.
In fact, everyone seemed perfectly happy.
Two hours later, the flight attendant returned to the microphone.
“If anyone has changed their mind…”
She paused.
“We still have 50 meals available.”
The cabin went completely silent.
Apparently, those 50 meals had become the most valuable seats on the plane!
