A group of friends went deer hunting in the deep woods of Minnesota, pairing off into twos for the day.
That evening, one of the hunters stumbled back into camp completely alone, sweating and staggering under the massive weight of a prized eight-point buck.
The rest of the group looked around in confusion. “Hey, where’s Henry?” they asked.
“Oh, Henry had some kind of stroke,” the hunter sighed, dropping the heavy deer. “He collapsed on the trail about two miles back.”
The group gasped in absolute horror. “Are you insane? You left Henry lying out there helpless in the woods and carried a dead deer back to camp instead?!”
The hunter nodded solemnly and replied, “Look, it was a really tough call. But I figured nobody was going to steal Henry.”
