The Vet’s Strange Advice Worked Perfectly…
A woman takes her pug to the vet because it snores terribly at night.
The vet says:
“Simply tie two or three bay leaves around his tail, and he won’t snore anymore.”
The woman couldn’t believe it, but tried it out that very evening. And the doctor was right. The dog didn’t snore at all.
The woman told this to her friend, who thought to herself: “If it works for the dog, it will surely work for my husband too.”
No sooner said than done. The next morning the man wakes up and goes to the bathroom.
When he looks in the mirror and sees the bay leaves, he is startled and immediately grabs the phone to call his friend.
“Hey Hans, we were bowling last night, weren’t we?” — “Yes.”
“And afterwards we went to a br0thel, right?” — “That’s right.”
“Tell me, do you know anything about an awards ceremony?”
