We are not given a good life or a bad life.
We are given a life. It’s up to us to make it good or bad.
1. Be thankful for what you have.
Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.
“If you want to know how fortunate you are, visit three places: the slum, the hospital, and the cemetery.”
― Matshona Dhliwayo
2. Don’t be the queen of drama.
Eliminate drama from your life at once. Drama is such a nasty, unfortunate characteristic to have. Part of ditching drama is ditching dramatic people.

3. Take responsibility.
First, take responsibility for yourself.
Responsibility is kind of awesome that way. Then, take responsibility for your slice of life too. Be involved in your community. Try to make things better.
4. Learn to forgive.
Holding a grudge is like drinking a poison and expecting the other person to get a stomach ache. Nothing good comes from it.
Learn to forgive people. That doesn’t exactly mean that you welcome them warmly back, but forgive.
5. Be kind.
Be nice to other people. It’s super easy and a lot of fun. Find some way to give back every day. Do something nice for someone each day.
The good karma will pay you back handsomely for it.
“We can each change the world, with genuine acts of kindness.” – Mongai Fankam
“The wonderful thing is that it’s so incredibly easy to be kind.” – Ingrid Newkirk
“Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.” – Albert Schweitzer
