Health expert shares the five ‘toxic’ beverages you should avoid

A health expert has concerned people to remove these popular drinks from their diet, and some will come as a bit of a surprise.

Taking to TikTok, Bowring shared the five ‘toxic’ drinks we should be staying clear of. While some of Bowring’s observations won’t come as a surprise, others most definitely will.

Alcohol

Research finds that that things like beer and wine can (and most times do) consist of glyphosate.

“This is a herbicide that can really destroy your gut wall lining. That’s called leaky gut syndrome. This can then cause into some autoimmune disorders.”

However, that doesn’t mean you should panic. According a spokesperson for the Beer Institute told USA Today, trace amounts of the chemical in beer and wine, an adult would have to drink more than 140 glasses of wine or beer daily before causing problems.

Sports drinks

“They’re loaded with sugar, and if it’s the low sugar type, they have artificial sweeteners most times,” the doctor reported.

Energy drinks can also consider problematic which branded as a ‘danger to public health’ by the World Health Organization.

Diet sodas

Although contaning low in calories, diet sodas aren’t always the healthier alternative.

Celebrity nutritionist Sarah Carolides has showed concerns about the phosphoric acid that’s in drinks like this too. Because the acid ‘gets straight into your bloodstream and causes the pH of the blood to drop.

Coconut water

Many people will definitely surprise because they think both coconuts and water are good for health, so why wouldn’t coconut water be?

Bowring explained: “Out of season, it can be a problem. Not only does it have a little bit of sugar, but it consist of deuterium and can really destr0y your energy over time.”

According to Osmio Water: “Deuterium is a natural element, the heavy form of hydrogen. High deuterium levels in the human body can have a negative impact causing chronic fatigue, metabolic problems and premature ageing.”

Fruit juice

Fruit juice is Another one that may come as a sh0ck.

According to Bowring, it’s ‘very rich in fructose’ which can possibly cause a fatty liver.

Fructose is a natural sugar found in many fruits, vegetables, and honey, but if using too much of it, you will get diseases like diabetes, obesity, leptin resistance, and blood levels of uric acid, says Healthline.
